A short letter to our Traveler
Privacy
Last updated: 7/26/2026
NightTraveler is built for the parts of you that only come out in the dark. We take that seriously.
Your dreams are private by default
Every Travel Log you record is private. No other Traveler, no advertiser, no algorithm will see it unless you deliberately mark it public or share a link. Public is off by default. Shared is off by default.
What we store
Your account (email, chosen display name), the dreams you record (text, tags, mood), any AI reflections you request ("Translations"), and any Archivist conversations you initiate. If you enable a public handle, that handle, your bio, and the dreams you mark public become visible to others.
What we do NOT store
We do not store audio recordings — voice capture is transcribed and the audio is discarded. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train third-party models.
AI reflections
When you request a Translation or converse with the Archivist, the relevant dream text is sent to an AI provider (via the Lovable AI Gateway) to generate a reflection. The response is stored on your account so you can revisit it. AI reflections are framed as one possible reading — not fact, not diagnosis, and never a substitute for a therapist.
Your rights
You can export all of your dreams as JSON or Markdown at any time from Settings. You can delete individual dreams from the journal. You can delete your account by contacting support — this removes your dreams, translations, Archivist conversations, comments, follows, and messages.
Cookies and analytics
We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party trackers or ad networks.
