The philosophy

A quieter place
for what you find in the dark.

Every night, half of your life happens elsewhere. In dreams you meet people who are not there, walk through places that do not exist, and feel things you rarely admit awake. NightTraveler exists to give that half of your life a home.

We call each user a Traveler, because that is what you are — someone who crosses a threshold every night, wanders somewhere strange, and returns with fragments. Most of those fragments dissolve within minutes of waking. NightTraveler is the practice of keeping some.

Reflective, never definitive

Dreams have always been interpreted — by shamans, by priests, by analysts, by algorithms. NightTraveler offers interpretation too, through a companion we call The Archivist. But every reading is framed as a question, not a fact. Your dreams belong to you; no one, human or otherwise, gets to tell you what they mean.

Private by design

Every entry is private by default. Sharing is per-entry and opt-in. There is no default public feed, no algorithmic surfacing of your inner life. If you choose to join the community, you decide what crosses over.

Honest about knowledge

The Codex — our library on dreams — carefully distinguishes historical belief, spiritual interpretation, psychological theory, and scientific finding. We will not pretend a myth is a study, or a study a myth.

Journey gently. The Realm has all the time you do.
